Vivo Energy Maroc, a key player in the fight against school dropout in rural areas
Vivo Energy Maroc kicked off its 2014 school donation campaign In El Jadida by offering bikes, school bags, as well as safety kits provided by the CNPAC (National Committee for Prevention of Road Accidents) to pupils of the Lahouria Schools Group, located in Lamharza Rural District right at the start of the new academic year. The authorities, local MPs and representatives of national media attended the event.
Vivo Energy Maroc pursues its commitment to protect education and childhood with the distribution of over 300 bikes and 3,300 school bags to the pupils the most in need in the kingdom.
This initiative, carried out each year in partnership with the NGO l‘Heure Joyeuse and the Casablanca Rotary Club Mers Sultan, is aimed at preventing school dropout mostly due to long distances between schools and the children’s homes.
This action is important to Vivo Energy Maroc. Improving conditions of access to school has been one of its most favoured areas for 12 years now. Our company’s principal contribution at this level involves supplying our young citizens with practical aid to help them improve their conditions of learning and maintain their enthusiasm for education.
