Vivo Energy Ghana, the company that distributes and markets Shell-branded fuels and lubricants, has rewarded about 350 customers who won various promotional items instantly during a site activation as part of its Shell Akyede Kese promotion which was recently launched.

This activation at Shell service stations is amongst many activities being undertaken during the three months promotion and involves an interactive session with motorists, where they are encouraged to buy at least GHs60 of Shell Diesel Extra, Super Extra and Shell V-Power to enter into a lucky dip promotion.

The first site activation, which was held at Hansonic Shell Service Station saw Motorists winning fantastic prizes instantly. The highest prize of a 32” LED Television set was won by Mr. Prince Cudjoe, a Taxi Driver who has been a loyal customer of Shell for over a decade now. 

A Trotro Driver in Accra, Mr. Fadian Nyavor was also a proud winner of a brand new Samsung galaxy note 3 tablet. In an interview, Mr. Nyavor confirmed the significant savings he makes daily on his fuel cost as a result of treating his car to quality fuels from Shell. Two other customers of the station also won Samsung smart phone each, after they purchased GHs60 worth of high quality fuels from the station during the site activation time. Other prizes won by customers included GHs50 shopping voucher, airtime, free fuel, free Shell Helix one litre lubricants, T shirts and dusters.

The Shell Akyede Kese promotion which began on the 6th October 2014 ends on 23rd December 2014. For each visit to a Shell Service Station, Motorists are required to buy a minimum of GH¢60 worth of fuel to qualify for a coupon. They then type Shell, leave a space and then the secret code on the coupon and text to 1406 from all networks to enter the draw.

There will be two monthly mini draws in October and November with Motorists winning sleek Hyundai i10 vehicle each in the first and second draws and a Hyundai Accent as the ultimate prize for the final draw in December. The site activations is on-going and motorists are advised to visit selected Shell service stations to be announced on radio to win instant rewards between 11am and 2pm.

There are over 40,000 instant prizes at selected Shell service stations nationwide to be won.  So fill up with GHS60 of Shell's quality fuels and win big in the Shell Akyede Kese Promotion. 

This promotion is in partnership with National Lotteries Authority (NLA) on the Caritas platform and supported by Stallion Hyundai Motors.
