The Kenyan National Rally Championship is one of the most exciting national championships in the world with an average of 50-60 entries of top quality modern rally cars per event.
This Championship takes place all around Kenya and visits some of the most picturesque and stunning landscapes as well as prominent and growing towns and cities including, Nairobi, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nanyuki, Meru, Eldoret, Voi and Nakuru.
The Safari Rally has always been hailed as one of the toughest tests of man and machine in the world since its inception in 1953 where it was started by Eric Cecil to celebrate the coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Today, the three day event still boasts some of the toughest and longest sections in modern-day rallying which test not only the strength and reliability of the machines, but also the physical and mental limits of the drivers - not to mention their resilience and skill.
