Multinational food chain store, Pizza Hut has expanded its network in Uganda, by opening up a new branch at Shell Entebbe.

Last year, Vivo Energy Uganda, the company that distributes and markets Shell branded fuels and lubricants, embarked on a project of upgrading its service stations to offer a wider range of services to both shoppers and motorists who visit the stations, by partnering with reputable industry providers to offer best in class additional services to their customers.

Pizza Hut a leading American restaurant chain and international franchise known for Italian-American cuisine including pizza and pasta as well as side dishes and desserts, will be offering Shell customers more convenience as they fuel or service their vehicles at Shell Entebbe service station.

Speaking at opening of the outlet, the Managing Director Vivo Energy Uganda, Hans Paulsen said that Vivo Energy understands that customers, now look for more than just a fill-up when they drive into Shell forecourts and it’s not just about the quality fuels and lubricants anymore, but rather the delivery of a complete service station experience which includes quick meals and shopping. 

“We cherish our customers and as such Vivo Energy continuously strives for innovative and more convenient ways of satisfying its customers. We are proud to be partnering with Pizza Hut and offering our customers unique experiences and indeed giving them more reasons to love Shell” said Hans.

The opening of the new store, comes with a promotion where motorists who purchase 100,000 worth of fuel get a free Pizza and shoppers who spend 50,000 in the select shop will also win free Pizza. Entebbe is a destination for beach goers, bikers and golfers, both Pizza Hut & Shell Entebbe have specific offers for them.
