VIVO ENERGY RWANDA LEADS THE WAY IN SUSTAINABILITY WITH A TREE-PLANTING INITIATIVE

Vivo Energy Rwanda demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental care by partnering with students from Lycee de Kigali and subsequently convening at Engen Nyamata service station for a tree planting initiative. This initiative aligns seamlessly with the company's overarching mission to champion environmentally conscious practices.

The day commenced at Lycee de Kigali school, where the team, alongside enthusiastic students, engaged in the purposeful act of planting trees. This collaborative effort emphasises the importance of instilling a sense of environmental responsibility among younger generations.

Transitioning from Lycee de Kigali to Engen Nyamata service station marked the subsequent phase of this initiative. This tree planting event was the first of many, with others planned for the future, highlighting the on-going dedication of Vivo Energy Rwanda to cultivate a greener future.

Saibou Coulibaly, Managing Director at Vivo Energy Rwanda, said, "Our tree planting initiative goes beyond meeting fuel demands; it is a testament to our unwavering dedication to environmental responsibility. By actively engaging with the younger generation and planting trees at strategic locations like Engen Nyamata service station, we aim to make a lasting impact on the communities we serve."

This tree-planting initiative symbolises Vivo Energy’s pledge to environmental activities and seeks to extend an open invitation to the public, encouraging all individuals and organisations to join hands in fostering a greener, more sustainable future.
