Established in December 2011, following the acquisition of the Shell Group's operations, Vivo Energy is a major distributor and marketer of Shell products in the Malian market. The company provides fuels, lubricants, card services, shops, restaurants and other non-fuel services to hundreds of retail and commercial customers in the mining, road transport, energy, construction and processing sectors. Vivo Energy Mali also supplies government fuel services and has done so since its inception. Beyond products, Vivo Energy Mali guarantees reliability of supply, technical expertise and highly valued customer service. Vivo Energy Mali operates an extensive and dynamic network of service stations. The company has a reputation for impactful investment programmes to create sustainable social and economic benefits in communities and has significant storage capacity, particularly in the mining sector. In Mali, the national language is French.
