We have become aware of fraudulent individuals and organisations falsely claiming to represent Vivo Energy and our affiliates These scammers often contact members of the public, our dealers, partners and suppliers via email, telephone, social media, messaging platforms, or fraudulent websites in an attempt to solicit payments, your username and passwords to websites/applications and personal information, or confidential data.

Please be aware of the following:

  • All official correspondence from Vivo Energy representatives will originate from our email domain @vivoenergy.com.

  • We do not offer or accept unsolicited requests for project financing, loans, or other banking services.

  • We do not request or accept financial deposits, bonds, or fees for the purpose of considering a project, loan, or service;

  • We do not request fees or upfront payments from prospective employees as part of our recruitment processes, or to promote sponsorship or advertising packages.

To prevent fraud and help protect our common interests and your interests, here are a few precautions you can take:

  • Do not open attachments or click on links from unknown sources

  • Beware of emails that ask for your credentials (Usernames, Pin Codes and Passwords), banking details or personal information.

  • Vivo Energy will never ask you to verify your credentials and banking information such as your passwords or pin codes

  • Be vigilant for lookalike email domains and ensure that all Vivo Energy correspondence originate from @vivoenergy.com

  • Lookout for gift card and prize scams and ensure rewards originate from our official loyalty websites/applications and domains.

  • We recommend that you consult with your IT Department to enable SPF and DMARC record checks on all inbound email that will assist with rejecting emails that do not originate from our email domain.

We take information security seriously and ask that you be vigilant for any unsolicited requests received from scammers posing as representatives of Vivo Energy.
