Kigali, Rwanda. 22 December 2023: Vivo Energy Rwanda introduced to the Rwandan Market MOGAS95, a premium high-octane fuel designed to optimise the performance of modern engines. This initiative reflects Vivo Energy's commitment to providing innovative and environmentally friendly solutions to meet the evolving needs of Rwandan motorists.

Until the launch of the new product, Rwanda’s Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) only offered Octane 93 fuel, which may not be optimised for the latest advancements in engine technology. Recognising the importance of adapting to the demands of modern vehicles, Vivo Energy Rwanda is taking a significant step by launching MOGAS95, which will initially be available exclusively at the Engen Kicukiro Sonatubes and later before the end of the year at Engen Kanogo.

Key government officials, including the Permanent secretary at MINICOM graced the launch event at the Marriott Hotel in Kigali.
