Sustainability at Vivo Energy Zimbabwe

As part of driving the recently launched Vivo Energy Sustainability Framework, the Zimbabwean team has continued to upscale its safety culture, by consistently holding its various stakeholders more accountable for safety and rewarding good HSSEQ Performance. The Operating Unit’s 4 sites have been endorsed by the Regulator for good HSSEQ practices amongst other criteria of site rating.

We will also be conducting our driver league award for Q3 and a winner, Frank Chirwa of Concrete Structure has already been identified and will be rewarded with a toolbox for demonstrating safe driving behaviour. Earlier in the year we also rewarded the driver of the year for 2021, Chris Sayi of Concrete Structure with a Gas stove.

Vivo Energy Zimbabwe will also be recognized for achieving good Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practice at the workplace at the upcoming Safety and Health at work Conference to be held from the 3rd to the 5th of October 2022 at The Kingdom Hotel, Victoria Falls, through a certificate of achievement. This award is a result of the outcome of the industrial assessment audits conducted by the National Social Security Authority (NSSA).
