Shell Pantang Service Station Opened to Provide Quality Fuels and Services to Customers

Accra – 5th October, 2024:  Vivo Energy Ghana, the exclusive distributors and marketers of Shell branded products, including high-quality fuels and lubricants, has officially opened its latest Shell service station in Pantang in the Greater Accra region.

The grand opening was attended by dignitaries, including the Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, Jean-Michel Arlandis, the Chief of Pantang, Nii Kotey Afutu Brempong III and a representative of the Ghana Police, Chief Inspector Adjetey Annag. Each shared speeches and remarks that underscored the importance of the new facility to the community and beyond.

The new Shell Pantang service station offers three key services developed to meet the diverse needs of customers. These include Shell's trusted high-quality fuels - designed to keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently, offering both value and quality, a fully stocked convenience shop (Shell Select) - that gives customers access to a wide range of products including essentials and unexpected delights, and EZ Laundry services to provide additional convenience to motorists and the wider public.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Jean-Michel Arlandis, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana expressed pride in the company’s commitment to expanding access to Shell’s top-tier energy solutions and convenience services for Ghanaians. “The opening of this Shell service station marks another milestone in our journey to deliver not only quality fuels but also innovative services that makes everyday life easier for our customers while creating job opportunities within the community we operate,” he said.

The Chief of Pantang, Nii Kotey Afutu Brempong III commended Vivo Energy Ghana for investing in the community, noting that the station will enhance economic activity and provide jobs to the youth. He expressed gratitude for the company's contribution to local development and welcomed the new services as a much-needed addition to the community’s growth.

The new Shell station at Pantang is part of Vivo Energy Ghana’s broader strategy to ensure that Ghanaians have greater access to its trusted services across the country. With this addition, Vivo Energy Ghana continues its mission to make quality fuel and customer-focused services more accessible, ultimately supporting Ghana’s transportation sector and community development.
